Last updated: August 2026

Task Ell Pty Ltd (ABN 14 661 775 542), trading as Task Ell ("Task Ell", "we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and how you can access or correct it, or make a complaint.

This policy applies to our website (taskell.au), our social media accounts, and the services we provide to clients across marketing, admin support, website design, operations and AI automation, and The Task Ell Way systems coaching.

1. The kinds of personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Enquiry and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and anything you tell us through our contact form, email, phone, or social media.

  • Client and billing information: business and contact details, invoicing and payment details, and information you provide as part of engaging our services.

  • Information handled on your behalf: if you engage our admin support, CRM management, or operations services, we may collect, hold, and use personal information belonging to your own clients, leads, or contacts, as described in section 5 below.

  • Website usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar data collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools (see section 7).

  • Marketing preferences: your email address and preferences if you subscribe to updates or a newsletter.

We don't intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information) unless it's incidentally provided to us as part of a client's own business records, in which case section 5 applies.

2. How we collect personal information

We generally collect personal information directly from you, through our website contact form, email, phone, social media, or in-person or video meetings. Where we provide admin or CRM support to a client, we may also collect personal information about that client's contacts as part of delivering the service, on the client's instructions.

3. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information

We collect and use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide quotes or proposals

  • deliver the services you've engaged us for

  • manage invoicing, payments, and our business records

  • send you marketing communications, where you've agreed to receive them

  • improve our website and services

  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

We don't sell personal information to third parties.

4. Direct marketing

If you subscribe to our updates or newsletter, we'll only send you marketing communications with your consent, and every message will include a clear way to unsubscribe or opt out at any time, consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can also opt out by contacting us directly using the details in section 12.

5. Personal information we handle on behalf of clients

Where Task Ell provides admin support, CRM management, or operations services to a client, we may access, hold, or process personal information about that client's own customers, leads, or contacts. In this situation:

  • the client remains responsible for that personal information as the entity that originally collected it, and for ensuring they have the right to share it with us

  • Task Ell handles it only for the purpose of providing the agreed services, under the client's instructions, and treats it as confidential

  • we don't use that information for our own marketing or any other purpose without the client's authorisation

If you're a client's customer or contact and have questions about how your personal information is being handled, please contact that business directly in the first instance.
